Main Duties /Responsabilities:
Under the supervision of the Publication & Knowledge Services Director, main responsibilities will include:
The Knowledge Services specialist performs searches of the scientific, technical and medical literature to identify relevant articles for internal customers such as R&D, Clinical, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and Marketing departments.
- Develops optimized search strategies within scientific literature databases (such as PubMed, Medline, and SCOPUS).
- Performs high-level review of a scientific article to determine if key search concepts are contained within the article.
- Organizes information and prepares search results report for customers.
- Inputs data and articles into department databases.

Requisitos
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Required educational qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Information Science or "Biblioteconomía y Documentación" with at least two years experience in the health care field.
- A scientific degree with relevant experience in information science will be also apreciated.
Other Skills
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel and Word.
- Experienced in searching scientific literature databases such as PubMed.
- Must have good working knowledge of internet-based information systems, platforms, and retrieval systems.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Must have good customer support skills and be able to work with different departments across the organization. The candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. English as a primary language is preferred/required.
