Macmillan Education, part of the Macmillan Publishing Group, is looking for a motivated Editorial Manager to join its very successful Spain division.
The role of the Editorial Manager is to ensure that all product is kept on schedule and within budget, whilst ensuring quality control. Working across both our primary and secondary print and digital lists the role involves working closely with the Publishing Operations Manager based in Madrid and the Publishing Operations Director based in London as well as editorial, design and production colleagues. This is a pivotal role in the day to day running of the individual project teams plus all stages of course development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent team-working and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Project management experience across a number of complex publishing projects - both text and digital.
- Experience of reviewing and implementing new systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of publishing processes in a digital environment and a commitment to integrating text and digital workflow.
- The ability to work on his/her own initiative and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
